In view of Hon.Chief Minister commitment on the floor of the assembly that
I. Smart meters are not compulsory
Ii. Smart meter cannot be fixed in absence of the consumer. The consumers need to present at that time of installation of smart meters
Iii. Section 171 of Electricity act that notices have to be srrvedon every citizen and acknowledgement shall be taken
The acts of every electric company is illegal and every senior most person from MD, CMD, GM of these electric company are liable to be prosecuted under serious sections of BNS .
We petition group foundation Trust would like to help and assist our fellow consumers to fight such illegal and forcible installation by each of electric company and get the smart meters removed and re install the old electronic meters without any provision of remote reading and disconnection as well as reading TOD which facilitates SURGING charges to loot the consumers.
Kindly note we are not
Electricity customers, we are Electricity consumers. Which gives us protection from such looters.
Unfortunately no MP, MLA, Councillor have been coming on roads assisting the consumers in police station and are silent spectators promoting the illegal installation of smart meters.
Ask the political parties and the political leaders who come to ask vote what they have done for the citizens?
We need to support the good and honest MP, MLA, COUNCILLOR and show others that they are not fit to be elected representatives.
