The incorrect notice was fixed on the meterbox which is violation to section 171 Electricity Act as well as they did not provide certificate of Metrology dept. The smart meter is installed without consent and against the direction of Devendra Fadnavis that no compulsion for installation of smart meters and it was shall be installed only in presence of the consumer.
We took the persons along with smart meter boxes to D B MARG POLICE STATION after calling for police help by calling 112 police control
Hence offence of 166,167, trespassing 452, 405,499, 379 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC is disclosed against GM BEST AND OTHERS. An incorrect notice was prepared and used as genuine for purpose of cheating the consumers, thereby also committing criminal breach of trust by BEST GM and others

In police station we asked the SHO to take possession of the smart meters and do panchanama the PSI refused to take the smart meters. As this is concrete evidence of motive and dishonest intentions.
